Cycle to Work is one of the UK’s fastest growing and most sought after employee benefits.

The Cycle to Work scheme run by BikeScheme in partnership with Halfords cycle2work is a Government backed initiative to enable your employees to save up to 42% on the cost of a cycle and cycling safety accessories for the purpose of cycling to work.  As a company you will also save money on your 13.8% NI contributions.

Our easy to use website will enable your company to set up a cost saving and green Cycle to Work initiative that promotes staff loyalty, health & wellbeing.

Your employees pay for the bike through a Salary Sacrifice arrangement and are in effect hiring the bike from you, their employer, and paying for this through their gross or pre-taxed pay.  They are able to make savings of between 32% and 42% through lower Tax and National Insurance (NI) contributions. 

BikeScheme allows employees to hire the bike and accessories over either a 12 or 18 month hire period.  The company can choose to pay for the bikes when orders are placed or we provide a leasing option which results in no capital outlay for the company.

Due to its parnership with Halfords, BikeScheme truly offers the widest selection of bikes in the Cycle to Work market. In addition to the Halfords bike ranges, their Partner Independent Bike Shop network allows employees to access virtually all bike brands available in the UK.

BikeScheme, which is run in conjunction with Halfords stores, enables employees to go to any of their 460 + stores and choose exactly what bike and cycle safety accessories they want (subject to a maximum limit of £1000).
